At Gardens Care Senior Living, we are looking for an experienced House Manager QMAP to lead our dedicated team and ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. As a House Manager QMAP, you will have a vital role in overseeing daily operations, managing medication administration, and leading our caregiving staff. What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and lead the caregiving team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to residents.
  • Administer medications and oversee medication management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and manage resident care plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure each resident receives the care they need.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining documentation, reporting, and following all health and safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Train and support new QMAPs and caregiving staff, ensuring they understand medication administration procedures and care protocols.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules, ensuring there is adequate coverage for all shifts and managing staffing needs.
  • Provide hands-on care when needed, including assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and resident wellness checks.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve operational efficiencies and ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Assist with family communication, ensuring family members are kept informed about their loved ones' care and well-being.
  • Ensure that all staff members provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care to every resident.

What We’re Looking For:

  • QMAP certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in senior care or a similar healthcare role.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of medication management, care planning, and regulatory requirements for assisted living facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for seniors.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
